2014 Australian Goddess Conference

24 - 26 October 2014

Baden Powell Scout Centre, Pennant Hills Sydney NSW

The Wellspring

~ a place of community gathering ~ a place to explore our wise ways ~ a place of movement and expression ~ a place of celebrating the receptive waters of woman and the moon ~ a place to share how we can preserve our sacred Earths waters.

~ a place of creativity and fun, of learning and sharing of experiences and knowledge ~ a place to be embraced and nourished with the wisdom of the Primordial Mothers

A resting place exploring the way in which we as women carry all of life within us and how the deep rest that is to be found in nature dwells within our very beings

In the dark of the moon let us gather and open to the wisdom of the Primordial Mothers

Women keep the cycles of the earth and oceans deep within our bodies. We have long been the keepers of the sacred Earth, her infinite wisdom and guardians of her secrets.

‘The Wellspring’ invites you to step into your wise ways.

It asks you to consider how life might be different if you were held in the embrace of the Primordial Mothers connecting with their reflective still waters and their eternal flow of wisdom …

Our line-up of some 24 presenters and workshops offers rich, deep and refreshing diversity around the theme of The Wellspring and the wisdom of the Primordial Mothers.

The line-up features international guest Max Dashú and Australian shamanic musician and sound healer Jane Elworthy.

California-based Max Dashú is acclaimed for her expertise on Goddess traditions, priestesses, medicine women, witches, and the witch hunts, and for teaching women’s global history and heritages through images. She founded the Suppressed Histories Archives in 1970 to research women in the world cultural record. Drawing on her collection of over 30,000 images, Max has presented her legendary slideshows at universities, women’s centres, bookstores, conferences, festivals, libraries, museums, and schools – and now at the Australian Goddess Conference.

Jane Elworthy has been for 25 years a maker, teacher, researcher and performer on the ancient women's instrument The Frame Drum. Sound Healer, performer, craftswoman, artist, shamanic practitioner and teacher, Jane has been teaching and facilitating ritual, ceremony and workshops for 30 years. She has trained in psychodrama, psychotherapy, drum making, sound therapy and shamanic studies, and has taught and performed internationally for many years.
